Character A is a snarky, dark-haired teen with tactile telekenesis.
Character B is a sweet-tempered, light-haired pre-teen without tactile telekenesis.
Character C is a masked, snarky, dark-haired teenager with tactile telekenesis.
Would you lay odds on Character C being A or B under the mask?
Well, DC sez: "It's Character B! He's been randomly aged, his hair has turned black, and he's developed a snarky temperament and tactile telekenesis! Aren't you surprised?"
Oh DC, "surprised" doesn't even begin to cover my reaction.

Date: 2009-03-14 01:07 pm (UTC)It's a little surprising how few superhero parents there are, isn't it? I wasn't thrilled to see all those kids tacked in, but then I was a lot MORE annoyed when so many almost immediately got sent away! And I note that of the five, the kids that stayed are mostly male (no boys got canned, and 2/3 of the girls did) and all of them linked to the male superheroes. Gr.
