There is martial arts synchronized fighting by the way. 'Choreographed Fighting'. Dunno if there's another name for it, a proper name; but it's competition level.
Ok, maybe it's odd to think of 'Batman laughing', when I hear it all low and menancing from the shadows of Gotham in my head if I see 'Batman laughed'.
Over emotional Superman was very apt though. Had no visual dissonence with that.
