PERFECT. A fitting replacement and probably a useful coping strategy, so he can fiddle with something.
Oh, that's such a good observation that I almost wish I'd let him keep it!
Finally a part fo the Silmarillion I have read and always adored! Wow. What a thought. Surrounded by darkness studded with stars and then the music... Beautiful.
Ahhh, thank you! The image really appealed to me...
YAY! He deserves some lightness and fun that comes from knowing a hobbit. Everyone in Middle Earth should have one, actually. I DECREE IT SO!
A HOBBIT FOR EVERYONE! Especially for royalty, who desperately need it...
(Of course Théoden exaggerates on purpose to distract Denethor from his father's death. He still remembers Denethor's eyes when he asked for the spear – that look of wild desperation and determination, the blood on his face, the white lines where the tears had cut a path through the bright red. Denethor in turn of course knows what his brother is doing(and how much am I squeeing inside that I can write *brother*?) but finds that it works on him and so says nothing.)
Oh my goddddd. You've killed me, you really have.
And thank you for the beta catch again!
You know, I'd love to read about that long journey. Ori and Haldir – an interesting pair! Hadir would probably find Ori utterly charming in his enthusiasm about history.
Isn't it, though? I kind of liked to imagine it...
The hair braiding was all thanks to you, so thank you sooooo much!
