Well, this is going to have to be quick, because I only have a moment today in between five or six meetings, ugh. My hand is doing better, but my writing has suffered for it (I'm trying to only write in half hour blocks right now). I'm hoping that's a temporary loss to avoid worse long-term damage! But I have gotten SOME things done, at least. I can literally see the finish line in one series (well, the characters can literally see it now, I mean) and I'm enjoying planning some one-shots. How is everything with you? Inspired or not?

I apparently missed something, but as someone going on two years now of trying to recover from nerve damage - whatever it is, I hope you're getting good treatment.

Pffft, did I post this to my personal journal again instead of superhero_muses? Dannnng. My hand is feeling a lot better after resting it strenuously, but I'm trying to still be REALLY careful with it. Short-term use for long-term problems is not a good trade at all...

Good luck with your meetings! I'm so glad to hear that your hand is doing better. Do keep giving yourself time to heal. It's important not to stress healing nerves too much. *knows from experience*

I'm doing pretty well, actually. My current novel has topped 40K and looks like it's going to be 80-90K instead of the 70K I thought it would be. I need to go back and build more relationship stuff into it but I think I'm around half done with the sequence of events. Well, what I can see of the sequence of events since I'm writing into the dark (and having a blast with it).

Just not sure what this new character is doing there and what he wants and I really don't know what the big secret hidden in the abandoned city at the heart of the forbidden, booby-trapped, riddled with poisonous creatures peninsula is. But Kennet, my POV character, is charging straight into it with his normal bullheadedness so I'm sure I'll figure something out soon. It's kind of like writing a bulldozer or a steamroller. Not much stands in Kennet's way. He'll just go over, under, around or through whatever it is, damn the torpedoes and any collateral damage. XD

I'm kind of in love with this sentence! I love the idea of there being this big unknown area that you, the author, will only get to explore if your character goes there. And it sounds like you've got just the right character for it! :)

My hand is doing so much better that it's tempting to plunge back in and start abusing the keyboard again! But I probably shouldn't do that... :)

No writing here because I am still completely burnt out from Major Life Changes time. Afraid I'm going to lose it all but I have that fear every time I hit Major Life Changes time and it still hasn't happened yet, so that's good.

I am feeling better, thank you! The hands really don't hurt much now, I'm just being stubborn and continuing to use this software so that they still won't.

I have ABSOLUTE AND UTTER CONFIDENCE that you will not be burnt out forever! You've just got too many stories in you...Yes, there will be times when not much writing is happening, but everything still there and just waiting for you!
