Yeah, this too! Almost everything I write is about sewing up loose threads and bringing together loose ends, making things connect that didn't before. Sometimes that's literal fixit fic, but other times it's just the pleasure of seeing how I can knit things together and make things make sense. It's the same impulse though, I think!
