By the way, I love the progression of Clark's first 3 novels. One is a version of Batman romancing a version of Talia al Guhl, one is Bruce Wayne the CEO, then after addressing both his "masks" Clark can't resist anymore describing a truer version of Bruce (the humble coach) falling for a female version of himself.
I am so glad you recognized Talia there, lol! I originally imagined the hero of that one ending up falling for his co-worker spy, but I think maybe Clark wasn't quite ready to go that far yet, so he just swiped Talia to use instead. :) And I LOVE the way you describe the progression of the books!
Alfred is his usual flawless self, though his disdain for my favorite romantic subgenre (vampires) pains me :3

I am so thrilled you enjoyed the one-upsmanship (your characters keep me honed on that front, because they do it so perfectly!) and the banter. This was so much fun to write that it was hard to pace it--I could have just gone on and on writing passages from the novels themselves, not surprisingly...
OKAY, I confess that m/m novel actually sounds all kind of cool to me, and I ended up wanting to know the plot! Who is this mysterious model? Is this a supernatural story and he turns out to be a real angel? Or is it a historical romance and he's just...I don't know, a male prostitute trying to make a more honest living? So many questions! :D
