Oh, poor Thorin! He looks at this party and sees Denethor and Theoden snarling at each other, Legolas and Gimli snarking, Denethor and Arwen bristling...it's going to be interesting.
Oh my I would love to see the exact expressions of everyone as he said that. I mean, how much does everybody know about the nature of their relationship? It's not been mentioned so far.
Well, they are sharing quarters (and quarters with only one bed) so I assume it's generally known although no one really dwells on it much, lol.
You mean you haven't until now?! Anyway I am looking forward to lots of lovely scenes from now on!
I am really hoping to write some! There will eventually be a series of appendices like in canon, filling in missing information, and I might just indulge and have a whole section that's just "Happy times in the Shire with my Uncles, by Frodo Baggins." :)
And OMG if Dís actually comes along!!!!!!!! I will be so happy!!!!
I really wanted to have some women in the party--and more than one, if I could manage it. Arwen and Dis seemed really logical choices!
What a fantastic and dramatic ending! I admit I spoiled myself on the Balrog front by accidentally reading the summary of the latest chapter at a glance but wow. BALROG!
And you've seen how that plays out now, so I shall move on to that one! :) Suffice to say, Balrogs don't get defeated without a price... *sniffles* *looks at your art again to feel better*
