Yes! *dances with you* I just couldn't leave the Ring as it was, and in a world where scholar!Thorin is alive and has a vested interest in keeping Bilbo safe, things will go differently... though I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed at the task--keeping all the different characters' paths straight is killing me already! How did Tolkien do it?? But drawing up maps and timelines and doing research is making me really happy... :)
