DELICIOUS THORIN WITH A BEDHEAD AND A GRUMPY ATTITUDE. SWEET MOTHER OF MIDDLE EARTH.
When you pointed that out I was like, "You know, that's kind of OOC--surely Thorin is an early riser and has no problem with it!" But then I think that he's allowed himself, for the first time in decades, to actually relax a little in the Shire and to feel at home and not drive himself so hard...
I just really love your keyboard smashing! I end up trying to read it out loud, and starting with "Hölavök" and ending with "fwvhoö" is pretty perfect. :)
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY NOOT????????
I would say--because he doesn't need to, really. I think he knows Bilbo loves him, and that Bilbo knows he loves him back, and he doesn't feel like they need to spend a lot of time on it, it's just...part of who they are now. He wanted to hear himself say it loud once--not for Bilbo's sake, but for his own. They have a very odd and understated relationship in this series, no big clinches or declarations, and I haven't been able to convince them to do much more! But oh, they are absolutely committed to each other, I promise.
And yes, Dis is in Bree! Time for sibling reunions and a trip back to Erebor! :) *dances*
Happy, happy Star Festival and Yule and Christmas to you!
