I know, I got rather sad for them! But they will get back to Rivendell, and Elrond will even send them on to Bree to meet up with Bilbo eventually, I think!
Well said. And I wonder why he turned away...maybe some rain in his eyes, too. Or he couldn't stand watching Bilbo cry, the big softie. :-)
Hehehe, you just might be right there!
Well done Thorin, well done. +sigh* I know he meant well and I like that he's protecting Bilbo by walking behind him, ready to catch him should he stumble. :-))))
He is, he is! He just...couldn't resist a bit of poorly-timed advice. *grin*
I love Gollum and you have captured him very well here. :-)
Oh, I'm relieved! I found him very hard to write, especially considering it's such a close match to the canon scene, so I'm glad to hear he worked for you...
Uh oh, insult the dwarf at your peril. Fat - you must be joking.
He's--well, he is quite wide! Gollum has no word for "brawny," it seems. :)
Hum. Is Gollum looking for a weapon? I'd think he's too much of a coward to take on TWO. But he has the advantage of seeing in the dark and knowing the terrain.
He's looking for his Precious, to come back and ambush them in the dark! But it's not there, poor Gollum...
