But, I mean - they learn this technique, don't they? I thought that was the whole point of wrestling, making it look good without hurting your opponent (too much). Well, as with anything, they can't all be very good?
Yep, some people are just notoriously bad and other wrestlers dread working with them because the chance of injury is much higher. "Soft" workers are really valued, and someone like Big Van Vader, who was a really nice guy outside the ring, everyone just hated to be paired with. He'd get going on adrenaline and hit a lot harder than he meant to (people tell stories of him crying after a match when he saw how badly he hurt someone!)
