I love it when Bruce makes comments like this that are probably the literal truth (or could be) but that everyone assumes are just kayfabe.
Those crack me up so much to write, it's so fun! Though yes, for his fun times Bruce has to pay by not being able to help Clark out as much as he'd like, or open up as much as he's tempted to...
Eddie was a blast to write, he's always been one of my favorite morally-gray villains and this way he gets to be a decent guy out of the ring. *grin*
I'm loving writing this, can't wait to get the next chapter up!
