Yeah...DC villains are always doing crazy stuff like that! I think maybe Ra's intends for him to find his way back, not knowing Superman is controlled now...but we all know how that story works out too. Even in canon, a mind-controlled Clark isn't going to be killing Bruce... he just fights it too hard.
