I love the J'onn/Kara here so, so much. Because J'onn would so reach out despite the danger, and he would be so alone... I'm glad he has Kara to back him up, they just make such a wonderful click in this universe.
I have a bunch of in-my-head stories about Kara and J'onn, and about Selina and Lex (I don't think they're lovers, but they have a relationship of sorts...I think he's the one who broke her collar off her, actually) and I'll probably never write them down, but they're fun to consider and doodle around in my mind!
He has no home, there is no safety, there is no room for what he might like. And he's fine with it, because there are bigger things like that, and he just kills me with how determinated he is.
It's so funny that...well, people do go on about how Clark needs Smallville, but this series has taught me that damn Bruce needs Gotham. I love him dearly, but the concerns of all humanity and the Earth...he doesn't tend to work on such a macro-scale! His city is his soul and he's rather lost without it. I knopw the epilogue is going to have some discussion of him rebuilding Gotham and I know I'll feel really relieved.
Diana has so totally lost her cool here, lol. She's all "I'm going to be a super-spy and be really detached and scope Kryptonian society and AUGH THAT'S MY FRIEND IN CHAINS I'M GONNA KILL SOMEONE." Bruce in the next chapter is all "Hera and Rao spare me from hotheaded metas..."
