Y'know, the way crazy guy was talking to himself, I thought he was Two Face but the mention of Scarecrow is bad enough.
*grin* One problem with big AUs is a tendency to put "named" characters into almost all the roles...so then people very naturally expect to see known characters everywhere. It's really hard to find a way to telegraph "This guy is just for steup! No one you know!" :) But yeah, he's just the "gibbering guy yelling 'Abandon all hope, ye who enter here!'"
Aw, I'm glad you liked Kal's moment with Bruce. He manages a few in tis arc, which was one of the purposes to it. I really enjoyed writing them...
