And I didn't know that Pinocchio killed the cricket in the original. I'm not so sure I wanted to know that.
Yeah, in the original he's unnamed, and when he nags Pinocchio too much Pinocchio hits him...then his little cricket ghost follows him around the rest of the book. @_@ The original, from what I've seen, is a lot more pedantic/moralistic and a lot less fun. :)
