mithenDear Extreme Deadlines Writer: Hello and thank you so much for being willing to write one of my requests! I'm really easy to please and I enjoy anything from "canon but more so" to non-mundane AUs (wrestlers in spaaaaace! Arthurian fusions! Pirates! Go nuts!)
A list of narrative things I love includes: identity play; fluffiness where you’d least expect it; hurt/comfort, regrets and reconciliation; amnesia; enemies being forced to work together; sad stories that somehow manage to end happily. I’d prefer if fic remain kayfabe-compliant--that is, the wrestlers don’t know how matches are going to go.
I enjoy gen fic, or G or PG romantic fic, or a PG-13 fade to black story! But if you do decide to go NC-17, things I particularly enjoy include any variety of dubcon (sex pollen, magic rituals, forced into it by an enemy); D/s dynamics where the sub is either very into it or starts reluctant and gets into it; oral sex; handjobs; fealty and praise kink; masturbation; any kind of getting off without actual contact--via voice, phone sex, telepathy, magic, what have you. Cruelty is a turn-off, but people expecting cruelty and getting affection (whether D/s or not) is very nice.
DNW include teacher/student relations, noncon, major character death, scat/watersports, extreme underage. In general if wrestlers are married I'd prefer the family simply be left unmentioned rather than actively written out of the picture or put into a poly situation (Rhea and Buddy are an exception!).
WWE: Mustala Ali, Thea Hail, Kevin/Sami, Julia/Rhea, Seth/Roman
Mustafa Ali: One of my favorites, now a wondering free agent trying to hang on to hope! I didn't like the "positivity" gimmick because it felt desperate and sad, but I would enjoy any fic about him hunting for gold and achieving gold, peace... or maybe love. I always shipped him with Drew Gulak, and now they're back in NXT together, and I think he and Dijak could have great chemistry too (playing on their history in Retribution), but really Ali/happiness is my OTP, so pair him with anyone or no one to achieve that.
Thea Hail: I love Chase U a heck of a lot and would be happy with any fic that played with the worldbuilding of the university or her relationships with Chase or Hudson. I'd generally prefer gen with Thea, but you can ship her with anyone but Chase and Hudson (teacher-student romance is a no-go for me) and I'd be fine as long as it wasn't really dark.
Kevin/Sami: Reunited and on the same page at last! I adore first time fic with these two and I don't care how implausible it might seem that they've gone 20 years without hooking up. An episode tag after the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, or WrestleMania would be divine! Shippy or gen fic are wonderful, I don't care, though I have extremely mixed feelings about Sami at Night of Champions, so I'd prefer not having fic about that.
Julia/Rhea: I had never considered these two until I saw the tagset and then I said hell yeah. Just dark sexy flirtation and seduction, in whatever form you like it. Feel free to throw Buddy into the mix as a facilitator, plot device, or full-on participant: does Rhea get curious about Buddy's new stable mate and decide to see if she's got what it takes? Does Julia want to seduce Rhea as some House of Black initiation thing? Feel free to have fun with supernatural themes and to work in any of the other members of both factions, I think it would be a really fun crossover.
Seth/Roman: I mean, look at these two messes. Anything set right around now as Roman's dynasty crumbles would be great. Does Seth find Roman in traumatic shock after Sami or Jimmy's turn and knows he's part of Roman's trauma and has to help (whether he's good at it or absolutely terrible is up to you). This is a relationship ripe for dubcon of any kind: sex pollen, mind control, any situation that forces them to break down their walls. But I'd be happy with the gennest of gen as well, just explore their pain-filled dynamic and the roads it has led them down.
AEW: Willow Nightingale, Rhea/Julia, Kenny/Ibushi.
Willow: A new favorite and a new champ! How does she feel about her win? I don't know her super-well and would love your take on her backstory, how she came to be the Babe with the Power, how she maintains her positive attitude in a world full of betrayal and backstabbing.
Julia/Rhea: I had never considered these two until I saw the tagset and then I said hell yeah. Just dark sexy flirtation and seduction, in whatever form you like it. Feel free to throw Buddy into the mix as a facilitator, plot device, or full-on participant: does Rhea get curious about Buddy's new stable mate and decide to see if she's got what it takes? Does Julia want to seduce Rhea as some House of Black initiation thing?
