Extreme Deadline Letter 2022!

Dear Extreme Deadlines Writer: Hello and thank you so much for being willing to write one of my requests! I'm really easy to please and I enjoy anything from "canon but more so" to non-mundane AUs (wrestlers in spaaaaace! Arthurian fusions! Pirates! Go nuts!)

A list of narrative things I love includes: identity play; fluffiness where you’d least expect it; hurt/comfort, regrets and reconciliation; amnesia; enemies being forced to work together; sad stories that somehow manage to end happily. I’d prefer if fic remain kayfabe-compliant--that is, the wrestlers don’t know how matches are going to go.

I’ve asked for a few darker prompts than is my usual wont this year with themes of mind control and vampirism and dark turns. As long as the person being turned to the “dark side” is happy with the situation at the end and is being treated well by the person/faction who turned them, I’m happy!

I enjoy gen fic, or G or PG romantic fic, or a PG-13 fade to black story! But if you do decide to go NC-17, things I particularly enjoy include any variety of dubcon (sex pollen, magic rituals, forced into it by an enemy); D/s dynamics where the sub is either very into it or starts reluctant and gets into it; oral sex; handjobs; fealty and praise kink; masturbation; any kind of getting off without actual contact--via voice, phone sex, telepathy, magic, what have you. Cruelty is a turn-off, but people expecting cruelty and getting affection (whether D/s or not) is very nice.

Finn/Judgment Day

I’d love a fic where Judgment Day are actual vampires/demons/supernatural beings! Now that Finn's the leader, I'd love fic about him taking over and where he's taking the faction from here. Anything covering the fallout from Hell in a Cell and the conversation he had with Damian and Rhea that ended up with them swearing fealty to him instead of Edge would be wonderful: was it all logical appeals, or did the Demon have something to do with it? I'm open to any combination of Finn/Rhea, Finn/Damian, Rhea/Damian, and Finn/Rhea/Damian, although gen fic is great too! I'd also be delighted to see them attempting to win over Liv Morgan--successfully or not--with Liv paired up with any and all of the members.

Julia Hart (AEW)

Continuing the darkness theme, I quite enjoyed her very slow shift to darkness and eventual “fall” and would love to read a fic detailing the transformation from bubbly cheerleader to, well, wherever she goes (I’m writing this very shortly after her turn). Honestly I’d rather she not be redeemed (I mean, really, who would choose Pillman and Garrison over Black and Matthews?) I don’t have anything in particular against the Varsity Blonds, but you don’t have to worry about “character-bashing” if you’re in Julia’s POV, I’m not attached to them and she can end up despising them as much as you want. This can be totally gen, but I’m certainly not averse to Julia’s fall to the dark side also involving sex with Malakai, Buddy, or Malakai & Buddy. Just as long as it’s at least plausibly consensual--the consent can be dubious, I just don’t want her miserable about it.

Hookhausen

And now for something completely different… The pairing with the tooth-collecting demon in it is the one where I want ridiculous tropey tooth-rotting fluff, go figure. Any backstory on Danhausen you want to create, go for it! I would love any and all getting-together stories for these two. They can be sexily menaced by House of Black! How does Taz react to his son dating a demon? Fantasy-book them to the tag titles, yes please! I just want to know how these two crazy… uh, kids? Demons? Whatever… finally fell in love.

Kenny/Ibushi

Things are tough right now for the Golden Lovers, and I’m craving something positive for them that brings them together after the difficulties they’ve been through recently. Either one showing up unexpectedly where the other is would be wonderful. You can use the Forbidden Door as an excuse, although I don’t think they’ll be on the card. What do Kota and Kenny feel, watching the matches and knowing they could have been there? What are Kota’s thoughts about Kenny’s feuds with Page? Please don’t dig too deeply into the real-life situation with Kota’s mother or have her as a character, but you can touch on it.
