Yes, exactly! One of the things I love about these two is the way Bruce can be Bruce even when in his Batman suit, if that makes sense.
Nguyen's art is breathtaking--so different from Lee's super-pretty realism, but maybe more beautiful and striking for that.
That ficlet is definitely getting put on my to-write list. :) It's a shame I'm so slow at getting to things on that list, it'll probably be a year from now until I ever write it (I put the wrestling AU on my list about five years ago!)
