Well, they're Lex's colors as well (and the Riddler's! Villains dig the color scheme!) but it works as a nice echo of Joker too, doesn't it?

And Dick is definitely in this universe, and a very important character! But I warn you in advance that his origin story is going to unfold relatively unchanged... *looks sad*
It's so funny. I haven't read any canon!Jason at all. I only know him through fanfic. Would I be disappointed by the canon version? I wonder sometimes.
I'm roughly the same! Of the canon versions I've seen, some work for me and some don't--he's been all over the board in terms of how he's been written, especially since his resurrection. It does give fanfic writers a lot of leeway, though! :)
