It's not flirting! He just...um...uses sex as a metaphor a lot! *grin*
On another note, I did some research on the moves... there are crazy crazy dudes in wrestling...Jeff Hardy jumping from 30 foot high..
Jeff Hardy is insane and freaking amazing! And would be working in the big leagues more except for his substance abuse problems. *facepalm* Definitely one of the ugly undersides to the business that aren't going to show up much in my story...
I still can't get over Bruce's costume...feathers, for god's sake!
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. *grin*
I do wonder, do these tricks still work when filmed with HD cameras from all angles? Has wrtesling always been on TV? A live audience can be fooled more easily but a slow-motion recap? Hmm.
That's an interesting thing too! In part the wrestling camera crews are incredibly skilled and have good directors moving the camera angles around to make sure they hide the trickery as much as possible. And they only show replays of moves that have come off really well, botches don't ever get seen again (although there are whole Youtube channels dedicated to picking apart mistakes, of course). the camera crews are a big part of the illusion being maintained...
I have to come up with more cool move names! Or...or stupid names, because some of them are really stupid...
