If they can genderbend Bruce into a Japanese girl, surely they can give us the Elseworld slash someday! (Or they could just leave it awesome subtext, that would work too). There are a couple of Arthurian-style Elseworlds here and there...in "Kal" Clark goes shirtless almost the entire time and ends up clad in nothing but molten metal by the end. Yum.
