Character A is a snarky, dark-haired teen with tactile telekenesis.
Character B is a sweet-tempered, light-haired pre-teen without tactile telekenesis.
Character C is a masked, snarky, dark-haired teenager with tactile telekenesis.

Would you lay odds on Character C being A or B under the mask?

Well, DC sez: "It's Character B! He's been randomly aged, his hair has turned black, and he's developed a snarky temperament and tactile telekenesis! Aren't you surprised?"

Oh DC, "surprised" doesn't even begin to cover my reaction.

But I, but .... how does a Kryptonian get tactile telekinesis? Is he a clone?

That's just dirty pool, DC. Now I refuse to suspend my disbelief at all.

I know, what? As far as I know Chris is just Ursa and Zod's child, where did the TTK come from??

I feel like they did Chris a pretty big disservice here as well. He's not my favorite character, but I'd have been more likely to give him a chance if they hadn't done this crazy bait and switch stuff...
