Re: Part 2

I agree, balderdash is also a great word. (Oxford Dic says: late 16th century (denoting a frothy liquid; later, an unappetizing mixture of drinks))

You evil author! *g* Leading Bilbo on like that. ;-)

Gahh, isn't he wonderful? I can always count on him to take action and take care of his people, and I love it.

Sigh, yes he is. Lovely lovely (somtimes infuriating) dwarf.

Can't you just see them? On nice thick beige paper with curly script? Awwww.

Yes, I can! They'd say:

Bilbo Baggins of Bagend, Hobbiton
son of Bungo Baggins & Belladonna Took
grandson of Gerontius & Adamanta Took and Mungo & Laura Baggins
gentlehobbit

(The old Took had so many children, I guess it would be wise to include him on the card, since he is a well-known hobbit in the Shire - probably even a celebrity by hobbit standards)

(even Thorin, maybe possibly definitely) likes having him around...

I'm glad the other dwarves cleared that up for Bilbo. :-)
