I haven't been posting many scans because JL is mostly embroiled in a Superman/Wonder Woman romance that I find, well...ill-advised, mostly, but there have been a few interesting moments relating to Clark and Bruce lately.
The first is a line Bruce gets when Superman has been infected by the Cheetah and become a, um, feral super-cat-beast:
Aw, I love when Bruce gets panicky on Clark's behalf!
Another is pretty weird, though, as it starts with Superman and Wonder Woman making out:
Then cuts to the person tracking them:
A few questions about this scene.
1. Is that the same tracker Bruce put on Clark back in Action Comics 12? It looks different but that could be artistic license. Is Johns aware that Action Comics 12 took place five years ago in continuity? Has Bruce been stalking Clark for five years now?
2. Is it really possible neither Clark nor Diana, with their various enhanced senses, is unaware of a big blinking tracker on Clark's back? Do they know it's there and are just playing along to give Bruce a thrill? (Does anyone want to write smutty Trinity-fic about this?)
Oh, and a final little moment that I liked, when Clark is explaining to Diana about the different ways he and Bruce approach their identities:
