Hahaha, I'm still delighted you wrote this for Dan X) Too. Funny.
Struggling Bruce! Bondage! Vouyeristic Clark! Schmoop! Wonderful, awesome schmoop! Man, what does this story not have? Brilliance!
Why, yes! I am spamming you!
Bruce looked smug. "I offered her a trade she found satisfactory."
I am deeply curious as to what is it that Bruce bargained here. WHAT. WHAT WAS IT???
"I'm not sure you really want to show me your soul that much, Bruce."
Aww, I love this theme! Paired with the bondage -the sheer trust of letting someone take control, for someone like Bruce, who's instinctively trying to get out, augh, that gets to me in frightening ways!- the trust involved to let Clark know anything he might want to know, to know his heart by Bruce's confession. Urg augh mrowww! I love your lasso stories because you always do such a wonderful job of cradling that trust and treating it for what it is. Your Clark is wonderful here, so driven and lost in the game, but respectful and mindful of Bruce's boundaries. Perfection!
And then they end up in giggles and wrestling, heee! Oh man. I love this story a lot, it puts a huge smile on my face every time I read it (ahem, why, yes, I've read it a couple of times now!). Lucky requester!
