I enjoyed that there was no angsty triangle here and that Arthur, Lancelot and Guenevere loved and trusted each other.
I always like retellings of the legend that have mutual respect and love between them, even if it's kind of required to get angsty at some point, alas.
You made me even read a fic with Kon, I character that I never never ever liked! It was fitting that he should be Mordred, a character I have always disliked as well.
*grin* As a Clark fan I have a hard time liking Kon because Clark isn't always a great father-figure to him, so people who like Kon often have strongly negative responses to Clark. I avoid quarreling with people about why Clark's emotional distance is natural, but...I could. ;)
This was harder to write than I thought it would be, actually! In part because there's huge chunks of the legend that I felt it necessary to summarize and condense, which was hard without seeming to jolt forward. I'm glad you liked it!
