Ack! I lovelovelove Bruce's conflicted feelings about R'as, even now. He's such a twist-the-knife villain, at least in the movieverse! I totally hope he's learned his lesson, at least a little, but with just enough of an edge to torture Bruce ever after... Does this make me a bad person? Mayhap. :D

Also, Clark declaring the Planet to be the "least important thing?" What a succinct and powerful way to hammer home the terrifying seriousness of the situation.

I love Alfred's fear when he's suddenly so forcefully reminded that Clark is not human, how much more obvious Clark's otherness gets under this strain.

I am so totally gnawing my knuckles waiting for the next bit!
