I'm in the camp that can't forgive Jean Paul. I know he had his own issues, and I often adore iterations of the char in fic, etc. But this version... some things are unforgiveable. Some people you can't win back. Some bridges you burn and have to live with the consequences.
Gah, I know. And I do think Luthor's thing about family (which I think he tries to deny to himself as much as possible) really tugged him both ways with Jean-Paul and Dick! That's three guys with very different parental-issues, isn't it?
Clark and Bruce (but especially Clark) are definitely going to have to step up the backstage leader role to fill the vacuum Dick has left behind, because Jean-Paul is just never going to be able to with his past.
